Very basic hotel, but my room was clean, the mattress was firm and comfortable, the water was hot and the wifi worked well.
The front entrance and upper hallway were worn and stuffy, not a good first impression, but the room itself was very good.
Was good value for a one night stay while motorcycling the Bruce Peninsula.
I’m a woman in my 60’s travelling solo and I felt perfectly safe.

I love this motel! Never an issue. Owners are very accommodating, rooms are nice, great open space in the back with bbq's and picnic tables for the guests to use. Never had any problems while staying here

The place is under new management and the new owner(s) are so welcoming. They definitely care about their guests and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They definitely go above and beyond amazing customer service! There was definitely a good vibe as we felt upon arriving. We were going to originally stay at another motel in the area and thankfully we didn’t! The place was more than what we hoped for being a 2 star motel. We were staying 2 nights so we were so impressed with the overall accommodations. The rooms were nicely renovated with laminate flooring, nice decor and furnishings. The beds were extremely comfortable as well with nice clean sheets. The bathroom was updated as well with laminate flooring compared to most other places that have gross tiles. The shower/tub had been newly done with new tiles and new shower head with great pressure for taking a shower. Great size balcony overlooking a nicely groomed grassy area with a few trees and a tree fort.

The reviews for this place don't do it justice! The front desk employee was very friendly, and the room was very clean and comfortable! I was really impressed with it, and quite like the balcony on the second floor. I would recommend this to anyone who has a car, on foot it's quite difficult to access!

As a person who travels a lot and would rather stay in little motels and inns instead of fancy hotels, this place was good. Could I be one of those grumps who complains about everything? Sure, but why? It doesn't help anyone or anything. Yes, there was wear and tear here, I can only imagine how costly it is to constantly keep up with maintenance for these little places. After a long day, my family had a nice stay. The bed was comfy, the ac & TV worked, and we felt safe on the main floor. Our room faced the road, but there were no scary or loud sounds at night (this is a bonus when having a little kid in the room).😅 There was a weird stain on the bed covering (not the sheets), but I have had enough trouble with washing my own linens, so I wasn't overly concerned about it. Check in and check out (we just dropped the key in the box) was a breeze. Sorry I have no photos to post, because after a long day, that was the last thing on my mind.🤣

good rooms at great price. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but were ok. Bed and room itself was very comfortable. Stayed for 1 night. Not enough wash clothes were left in the room. Nice little gem. Price was very reasonable

Excellent customer service. I arrived at hotel late and was welcomed warmly by the owner. Very humble and down to earth person. The room was pretty clean and no free of stains on bedding. Bathroom was very clean with plenty of toiletries. Very highly recommended. Stay at a very reasonable price.

This motel was a very nice comfortable stay. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. Price is good too. Nice and close to everything in Owen Sound.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We needed to stay for one night for our way to tobermory and were looking for a budget friendly hotel. The reviews we read weren't good. However, 2 queen bed room we stayed was clean, with nice bed cover , working TV, fridge and an oven. The bathroom was clean and half renovated. Carpets were old but frankly speaking it didn't matter that much. We checked in quite late and wasnt an issue. The owner seems friendly. Overall, I am happy with the hotel as it was almost half the price of the other hotels in the area and was clean and was better than we expected.

We were happily surprised by the motel. The room was a good size and clean. No carpet on the floor just wood which I think is easier to keep clean. We had booked a king size bed. In the room there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. And in the bathroom a hair dryer. We plan to use this motel again on our next visit to Owen Sound.
